Mennonite Items of General Interest.

. . .

— The Mt. Lake Observer gives the following account of the passing of Peter Buhr of the Mt. Lake, Minn., community:

Death came suddenly to Peter Buhr, 72, Saturday morning. He was riding in his car, with his young son, Ted doing the driving, when he was stricken and died. Mr. Buhr had been in town and had visited several business places during the morning. He and Ted were on their way home and had reached the Hormel station on trunk highway 60, when the stroke came.

Ted ruched his father to the Bethel hospital, where immediate attention was given the elderly man, but he never regained consciousness.

Funeral services were held Tuesday from the First Mennonite church, with the Rev. I. J. Dick in charge. The Reverends John Bartel and H. H. Quiring also spoke.
