Henry R. Nickel, for many years a resident of the Bethel Home for Aged passed away there on Sunday evening, after an illness of several weeks. Through his long life of nearly 80 years he made a wide circle of acquaintances, and friends from far and near have come to attend his funeral which will be be held at the First Mennonite church of Newton this afternoon. he farmed at Halstead until he retired in 1927 and took up his residence at the Bethel Home for Aged. peter Nickel, a brother from Oklahoma is here attending the funeral today.

Henry R. Nickel, for many years a resident of the Bethel Home for Aged passed away there on Sunday evening, after an illness of several weeks. Through his long life of nearly 80 years he made a wide circle of acquaintances, and friends from far and near have come to attend his funeral which will be be held at the First Mennonite church of Newton this afternoon. he farmed at Halstead until he retired in 1927 and took up his residence at the Bethel Home for Aged. peter Nickel, a brother from Oklahoma is here attending the funeral today.
