Dr. J. E. Linscheid of Bethel College received a long distance telephone call today saying that Dannie, the 9 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Aaron J. Classen of Beatrice, Nebr., was crushed between a tractor and truck yesterday afternoon. He passed away as the result of his injuries sometime last night. Funeral services for the lad will be held at 2:30 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Mennonite church in Beatrice.

Full details of the tragic accident have not yet been received. There are a number of close relatives of the Classen family living in the Newton and Whitewater vicinity who will evidently attend the funeral services if possible.

The parents have the heartfelt sympathy of their friends in their bereavement.

Accident at Beatrice, Nebr., Fatal to Boy of 9

Dr. J. E. Linscheid of Bethel College received a long distance telephone call today saying that Dannie, the 9 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Aaron J. Classen of Beatrice, Nebr., was crushed between a tractor and truck yesterday afternoon. He passed away as the result of his injuries sometime last night. Funeral services for the lad will be held at 2:30 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Mennonite church in Beatrice.
