Funeral services were held at the First Mennonite church on Monday afternoon and were largely attended. Words of comfort for the bereaved were spoken by Rev. J. E. Entz and Dr. E. G. Kaufman of Bethel College. Mr. Richert is survived by his deeply bereaved wife and the following children: John c., San Francisco; Mrs. John P. Regier, Mrs. Helen Harder, Arthur J. Richert, Los Angeles; and Karl A. Richert of Newton.

— One of the oldest residents of the city passed away late last Wednesday evening, when death took Abraham Richert, aged 86 years, at the Bethel Hospital. Funeral services were held at the First Mennonite church on Monday afternoon and were largely attended. Words of comfort for the bereaved were spoken by Rev. J. E. Entz and Dr. E. G. Kaufman of Bethel College. Mr. Richert is survived by his deeply bereaved wife and the following children: John c., San Francisco; Mrs. John P. Regier, Mrs. Helen Harder, Arthur J.
