&#8212; Many friends and acquaintances of Rev. J. P. Linscheid of Arlington, father of Dr. J. E. Linscheid of Newton, are deeply grieved to hear of his death last Sunday morning. Rev. Linscheid appeared to be quite well during the early part of the morning, but passed away suddenly from heart attack. On Christmas day he was here in Newton and greatly enjoyed the family gathering at the Dr. Linscheid home. He was pastor of the Arlington Mennonite church. His children surviving are J. E. Linscheid, Elizabeth K., Emma and Edward of Arlington; Alfred of Cleveland, Ohio, and Peter R. of Attica. Funeral services are to be held this afternoon at Arlington. Rev. D. D. Eitzen of Los Angeles, Calif., will officiate.

— Many friends and acquaintances of Rev. J. P. Linscheid of Arlington, father of Dr. J. E. Linscheid of Newton, are deeply grieved to hear of his death last Sunday morning. Rev. Linscheid appeared to be quite well during the early part of the morning, but passed away suddenly from heart attack. On Christmas day he was here in Newton and greatly enjoyed the family gathering at the Dr. Linscheid home. He was pastor of the Arlington Mennonite church. His children surviving are J. E.
