— Mrs. Susan Royer, one of the old settlers of the Newton vicinity, passed away at her home last Thursday, August 13. She was 83 years of age. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Pennsylvania church, with rev. Earl Buckwalter, Rev. D. D. Zook, and Rev. Paul Erb officiating.
