Father and Son Drown In River at Fredonia, Kan.

The sudden, unexpected death of father and son, David B. Jantz and Ben Jantz, occurred at Fredonia, Kansas, on Sunday, June 21, when both drowned in the Fall River at that place. Caught in the current of the river, they were apparently unable to extricate themselves.

Funeral services were held at the Mennonite church at Montezuma, Kansas, where nearly one thousand friends and relatives attended. Local ministers there are Rev. John A. Koehn and Rev. J. E. Friesen.
