&#8212; Jesse Rupp, a former cashier of the Bank of Berne at Berne, Ind., died at his home at Wauseon, Ohio, on Monday, Feb. 24. His mother, Mrs. Daniel Rupp of Archbold, Ohio, who was 83 years old preceded him in death by only a few days. Mr. Rupp had been reared in the Defenseless Mennonite church and once wrote an essay on Mennonitism, based on the early history of the denomination. He was 62 years of age at the time of his death.
