— A most serious tragedy happened near Burrton, at the Paxton Interurban station, when Harmon L. Armstrong, living west of Halstead, and his sister-in-law, Mrs. J. Murphy of Lawrence, came to their death as an eastbound Interurban train struck the car in which they were driving. Mrs. Murphy had just arrived at Halstead on a Santa Fe train for a visit at the Armstrong home. the two were evidently unaware of the approaching Interurban car and were hurled to their instant death by the impact of the collision.
