Last rites were held Tuesday, Sept. 22, from the Mennonite brethren church in Reedley, California, for Jacob Richert, 75, whose death at t Fresno hospital followed soon after injuries received in a traffic accident.
The decent was riding in a machine with A. A. Beier, and the crash occurred at the intersection of Ventura and Minnewawa avenues. Lucie Gutierrez of Fresno was driver ot the other machine.
Richert's death was caused by a fractured spine.
Richert was a native of Russia but had been a Reedley resident for seventeen years. — Exponent.
