Margarethe (Mrs. Paul) Enz, retired grocer of Newton, died Dec. 24 at the age of 87. Services were held Dec. 27 at the First Mennonite Church with Albert Epp in charge. Born Margarethe Ensz, she was married to Paul Enz, and they operated the Enz Grocery Story in Newton for 43 years. He died in 1976. She is survived by two daughters, Lucile of Newton and Marjorie (Mrs. W. K.) Jantz of Prairie Village; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Claassen and Mrs. Edna Suderman of Newton, Mrs. Linda Andreas of Abilene and Mrs. Martha Unruh of Dodge City; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
