MARTIN F. KROEKER

Martin F. Kroeker, 83, was born in Richmond, Texas, on Dec. 16, 1904, to Bernard and Marie Friesen Kroeker. He died in a Dallas, Ore., nursing home on May 2, 1987.

He moved to Dallas in 1939 from Henderson, Neb. He had been employed as a custodian for the Motor Vehicle Department prior to retirement.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret, in 1944. He married Linda Ediger in 1945. She preceded him in death March 11, 1987.

He was a member of the Evangelical Mennonite Brethren Church, Dallas, where he had been treasurer, Sunday school teacher and a member of the board of deacons.

Surviving are his son, Richard of Salem; a daughter, Laurine "Lauri" Kroeker of Salem; a brother, Pete, of Dallas; and two grandsons.

Funeral services were held May 7, 1987, at the Evangelical Mennonite Brethren Church, with Harold harms and Arno Wiebe officiating. Interment was in the Dallas Cemetery.
