text of obituary:

MARSHA GWEN KOEHN

Our loving daughter, Marsha Gwen Koehn, was born in Newton, Kansas on Feb. 25, 1947.

Although apparently healthy at birth, after about three months it became evident that Marsha had a spastic condition. This condition continually became more severe as the years passed. She remained helpless during her entire lifetime. Only the Heavenly Father knows how much suffering and pain she has endured in her brief life span. Each spasm through the years left her a little weaker until her earthly life ended.

Much love was shown to Marsha in many ways by friends and loved ones. Her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Henry Koehn, tenderly cared for her during out brief absences from home.

We have gladly done what we could for her on this earth. Now she is whole, relieved from all pain and weakness. Marsha went to be with Jesus on her daddy's birthday, March 9, 1958, at 5:15 in the evening, reaching the age of 11 years and 12 days. She leaves to mourn her departure her loving parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest H. Koehn, two sisters, Iris Gail and Maureen Beth, her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Koehn and Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Schmidt, two uncles, five aunts and 17 cousins.
