Funeral services for John Mayeske, 84, long-time resident of the Lehigh community, were held at the Lehigh Mennonite Church on May 2 with Rev. P. W. Goering of Moundridge officiating. Mr. Mayeske died April 30 at the Bethesda Hospital in Goessel, having resided for several months at the Bethesda Home. A native of Russia, he and his wife came to Lehigh in 1907. She died in 1959.

NEWTON AND VICINITY

Funeral services for John Mayeske, 84, long-time resident of the Lehigh community, were held at the Lehigh Mennonite Church on May 2 with Rev. P. W. Goering of Moundridge officiating. Mr. Mayeske died April 30 at the Bethesda Hospital in Goessel, having resided for several months at the Bethesda Home. A native of Russia, he and his wife came to Lehigh in 1907. She died in 1959.
