Peter B. Wohlgemuth was born January 31, 1880 two miles south of Hillsboro, on a farm where he was reared. In the year 1900, his parents moved to Hillsboro wher he sought work among the farmers. Later on he learned teh barber trade, and for many years he was a barber in Hillsboro, where he made many friends. He followed this trade up to the end.

In 1909, January 2nd, he was united in marriage with Marie Reissig. This happy union lasted only eight months when she departed this life. In 1911, August 24th, he was united in marriage to Caroline Hett. His wife being of poor health, they tried many different localities in trying to improve her health. He was ever a tender and sympathetic husband, being at all times attentive to his wife.

Peter B. Wohlgemuth was born January 31, 1880 two miles south of Hillsboro, on a farm where he was reared. In the year 1900, his parents moved to Hillsboro wher he sought work among the farmers. Later on he learned the barber trade, and for many years he was a barber in Hillsboro, where he made many friends. He followed this trade up to the end.
