MANITOBA PIONEER DIED AT 82

Steinbach, Man. — Funeral services were held at the Evangelical Mennonite Church here Feb. 2, for Mrs. Cornelius Neufeld, 82, native of Russia and pioneer settler in Manitoba.

Born in Russia on Dec. 9, 1873, she came to Canada at the age of two. Her first marriage, to Abram E. Funk, occurred in 1894. After his death, she was married to Mr. Neufeld, who died in 1932. Two sons, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren survive.
