Lansdale, Pa. -- One of the organizers of the Grace Mennonite church here and a leader in church and civic activities, Allen R. Fretz, passed away at Abington Memorial hospital on Jan. 20 at the age of 53.
Mr. Fretz was the son of the late Rev. and Mrs. Allen M. Fretz of Souderton. After the organization of the Grace church here, he served as president of the church council, chairman of the building committee, and Sunday School superintendent.
He is survived by his wife, Grace Moyer Fretz, four children at home, and the following brothers and sisters: Jacob R. and Osmund of Lansdale; Eli of Pleasant Valley; Mrs. Viola Christman of East Greenville, and Mrs. Agnes Dewiler, Chalfont.
