Francis Musselman, the oldest member of the Wet Swamp congregation, died at the home of his son in Pottstown, Pa., on January 15. He was the son of Michael and Susanna (nee Strunk) Musselman. Born in Milford November 17, 1836, he attained the age of 91 years, 1 month and 28 days. Married Mary Sell, daughter of Peter Sell. He is survived by three sons, Frank, Peter, and Horace, and one daughter, Mrs. Laura Meyer. He has always been identified with the Swamp congregation. Bro. Musselman retained the use of his clear mental faculties almost to the last. Funeral services were held at West Swamp on the 19th, when the pastor was assisted by Rev. N. B. Yerger, of Trinity Lutheran church, Quakertown, whose services and Sunday school Father Musselman attended while living as a neighbor in Quakertown.

Francis S. Musselman

Francis Musselman, the oldest member of the Wet Swamp congregation, died at the home of his son in Pottstown, Pa., on January 15. He was the son of Michael and Susanna (nee Strunk) Musselman. Born in Milford November 17, 1836, he attained the age of 91 years, 1 month and 28 days. Married Mary Sell, daughter of Peter Sell.
