A brother, Ben, and a sister, Fanny, preceded him in death. We mourn his passing but rejoice to know that he is at rest. — The Family. | |||

Christian Hofstetter, son of Christian and Anna (Beugli) Hostetter, was born on Jan. 25, 1885 near Dalton, Ohio.
Until he was 15 he lived on a farm near Dalton. He attended the Sonnenberg Mennonite Church. In 1900 the family moved to Oregon and settled near Silverton.
As a young man he accepted Christ as his Saviour and joined the Mennonite Church.
