Funeral services were held Aug. 12 at Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church, near Goessel, for Rudolph F. Klassen, 84, of Goessel, with Kenneth Rupp officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. A McPherson county farmer and longtime Goessel resident, he died Aug. 10 at Axtell Christian Hospital, Newton. Survivors include his wife, the former Esther Nikkel of Goessel; one son, Perry, of Moundridge; one daughter, Phyllis Voth of Hillsboro; three sisters, Katherine Duerksen of Newton and Ella Schmidt and Irma Janzen, both of Hesston; three grandchildren; and one great-grand-child. |
