LINFORD L. EWERT DIES FROM FOOTBALL INJURIES
Linford L. Ewert, aged 14, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ewert, 322 Harrison, passed away this morning at 5:30 at Bethel hospital following ann illness of blood poison.
Linford was injured on the foot in a football game a week or more ago. The injury was not considered dangerous at first, and it was not until Tuesday of this week tha the case appeared serious and the boy was taken to the hospital that day. He was a pupil in Junior High, where he was popular among his classmates.
Besides his parents, Linford is survived by a brother and a sister, Albert and Lorraine.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 at the Mennonite church on East First. Interment took place in Greenwood cemetery. — Exch-
