Burial was in the church cemetery. She died May 21 at Wheat State Manor, Whitewater, where she had lived a short time. Survivors include her husband, of Whitewater; one son, Milton A. Claassen, M.D., of Newton; one daughter, Virginia Claassen, rural Whitewater; one brother, Cornelius Regier, of Hesston; and four grandchildren.
