Joe H. Buller, son of Henry and Anna Buller, was born Nov. 7, 1888 in McPherson County, Kan., and died on July 22, 1978 at the age of 89.

The family moved to a farm south of Goltry, Okla. in 1901. He was married in 1913 to Dena Jantz of Ringwood, and they began their home on a farm one and one-half miles south of Goltry. The union was blessed with four daughters and three sons.

It was during the most busy years of their married life that they realized their need of a Savior. They accepted Christ into their lives and were baptized together by P. H. Unruh in 1929. They then united with the Zoar Mennonite Church of Goltry. He took a special interest in the work of the church and it was a joy for him to serve as deacon and Sunday school teacher for many years. He also enjoyed visiting the sick and lonely and others who were in need.

He was a loving and kind husband and father, very much concerned about the spiritual welfare of each of his children and grandchildren. At family gatherings he enjoyed asking all to gather around the piano and sing some of his many favorites, and then he would lead in prayer. Their golden wedding anniversary, Jan. 29, 1963, was an occasion for much praise.

JOE H. BULLER

Joe H. Buller, son of Henry and Anna Buller, was born Nov. 7, 1888 in McPherson County, Kan., and died on July 22, 1978 at the age of 89.
