● Harvey O. Vogt, 73, died Jan. 5 at Schowalter Villa, Hesston. Services were held Jan. 8 at the First Mennonite Church of Halstead, with Henry W. Goossen in charge. Vogt was married in 1930 to Mary H. Ewy, and they farmed in rural Hesston for many years. Later they lived in Halstead before moving back to Hesston a year ago. She survives, along with a son, Howard of Westminster, Calif.; a daughter, Barbara (Mrs. Douglas) Stutzman of Hesston; two brothers, Willard Vogt and Paul Vogt, both of Hesston; two sisters, Helen Ewy of Hesston and Clara Roth of Hubbard, Ore.; and five grandchildren.
