Elsie Stauffer, 78, died Sept. 28 at Millers Merry Manor, where she had resided since August 1985. She is survived by one son, one daughter, seven grandchildren, and a great-grandchild; two sisters, Ruth (Mrs. Walter) Barkey and Esther Yoder; and three brothers, Raymond, Harold and Earl of Brutus, Mich. She was a member of Yellow Creek Mennonite Church, where funeral services were conducted by Bob Detwiler and Wes Bontrager.
