EDNA KLEIN DALKE
Edna F. Dalke was born Feb. 28, 1909 to Mr. and Mrs. Jacob F. Klein of rural Peabody, Kan. She died Mar. 15, 1978 at Salem Hospital in Hillsboro at the age of 69.
She joined the Ebenfeld M. B. Church in 1922. She was married to Jacob E. Dalke on Oct. 25, 1935, and they had three children. He died in 1974. She was involved in community and church activities in Hillsboro, particularly in the Gnadenau-Parkview M. B. Church where she transferred her membership. Despite health impediments later in life, she remained active until her death.
Services were held at the Parkview M. B. Church on Mar. 18 with Gary Wiens and John c. Ratzlaff officiating. Survivors include two sons, Lloyd D. of Hillsboro and Monroe J. of San Francisco, Calif.; a daughter, Joyce A. of El Dorado; a Brother Jacob S. Klein of Peabody; and two sisters, Susie Giesbrecht of Hillsboro and Anna Harms of Peabody. she was preceded in death by her only grandchild.
