FRACTURED HIP PROVES FATAL TO AGED RESIDENT OF BERNE, INDIANA
Berne, Ind. — Funeral services were held at the First Mennonite church June 28 for Mrs. David Habegger, 82, a resident here for 50 years. Death came as a result of a fractured hip suffered in a fall on the porch of her home June 19.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Wm. Wells of Lima, Ohio, and seven step-children, among whom are two missionaries, Mrs. S. T. Moyer in India and Rev. Alfred Habegger of Lame Deer, Mont.

MATHILDA KIRCHHOFER HABEGGER, 82, passed away on June 26, following a hip fracture a week before and several years of heart ailment and complications. She was a member of the First Mennonite Church in Berne, Indiana.
