MRS. CHRISTENA KOHLI, pioneer resident of Bluffton, Ohio, died Tuesday night at her home on Spring Street, and her funeral was held Friday afternoon at the First Mennonite Church. Mrs. Kohli was the daughter of Christian and Kathryn (Luginbill) Amstutz. She died after a three months’ illness from heart trouble. Surviving are two sons, Maurice Kohli, of Bluffton; Armin C. Kohli, Decatur, Ill.; three daughters, Mrs. Florence Burkholder, Nampa, Idaho; Mrs. Eulalia Bixel, Eugene, Oregon; Mrs. Verna Patterson, Caldwell, Idaho. Also surviving are four sisters, Mrs. H. J. Hoover, San Dimas, Calif.; Mrs. J. E. Amstutz, Trenton; Mrs. Susanna Lugibill, and Mrs. Bruce Byran, Findlay, and two brothers, Ed Amstutz, Kansas City, Mo.; and Chris Amstutz of Florida. Mrs. Kohli was a member of the First Mennonite Church and of the missionary society of the church. Rev. H. T. Unruh officiated at the services and burial will be made at the Ebenezer cemetery.
