'''Amstutz.'''— On March 18, near Bluffton, Ohio, of old age and general debility John S. Amstutz, aged 83 years, 3 months and 10 days. The deceased was known as a man of excellent Christian character. He was very intelligent and for many years taught school. His interest in the cause of Christ prompted him frequently to contribute inspiring articles to the Bundesbote, until prevented by age and failing health. He was a loyal member of the church as long as he lived. His remains were laid to rest in the Ebenezer cemetery. Funeral services were in charge of Rev. W. S. Gottshall. He leaves his widow and ten children. | |||
