• John P. Goertz, 88, of Moundridge died unexpectedly April I at Knoxville, Tenn., while visiting his daughter, Grayce Goertz there. Mr. Goertz operated a feed mill at Moundridge for a number of years. His wife, Elizabeth died in 1962. Survivors in addition to the daughter in Knoxville include another daughter, Mrs. Gladys Oaks of Opa Locks, Fla.; a son Richard, of Richmond, Va.; two grandchildren; four brothers and three sisters, all living in Canada except Kurt P. of Mesa, Ariz. and Jake, rural Newton. Funeral services were held Monday forenoon at the West Zion Church, Moundridge, with Rev. Marvin Zehr officiating.
