WILBER RUSSEL HALL
Wilber Russel Hall died Apr. 12, 2008. He was born July 12, 1929 in Calgary. Russ served 27 years in the Royal Canadian Navy and was a veteran of the Korean War. He owned and operated the bowling alley in Rossland, B.C. He resided in Nova Scotia for 16 years before retiring to the West Coast. Russ loved his family and the Lord. He enjoyed carpentry and genealogy. Russ used his carpentry skills to build several houses, and his genealogy skills to trace his family back to the 1500s. Predeceased by an infant daughter, Barbara Joy, he is mourned by his wife of 56 years, RoseMarie; children David (Diane), Dan (Elvie), Michelle Tanner (Kendall), Dianne Menzer, Janice (Sally); 15 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren. The funeral was Apr. 19 at Northside Community Church, Mission, B.C
