PAULINE TESSMAN

(Mrs.) Pauline Tessman of Abbotsford, B.C. passed away on October 12. She was born to Adolf and Agatha Pidde on September 11, 1889 in Neuhoffnung, Berdjansk, Russia. In 1910 she married Henry Tessman of AlexanderpohL In 1917 she accepted Christ as her Saviour, and was baptized into the Mennonite Brethren church by Rev. Herman Neufeld. In spring 1930 the couple with their three children immigrated to Canada, settling in Manitou, Man. In 1937 they moved to Yarrow, RC. where they lived on a berry farm till their 1953 retirement. They moved to Chilliwack and joined the Broadway MB Church. In 1975 they moved into the Eden Rest Home. She was predeceased by son Henry on March 4,1979, and husband Henry H. on June 15, 1979. She is survived by two daughters and husbands: Nellie and Isaac Wiebe of Chilliwack, and Agatha and Jacob C. Fast of Sardis, B.C.; daughter·in-law Helen Tessman of Chilliwack; 10 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and one great -great-grandchildren.
