ELIZABETH KLASSEN
Elizabeth Klassen died Aug. 18. She was born Oct. 12, 1931 to Peter and Helen Voth near Herbert, Sask. As a young girl, she was baptized and later attended Herbert Bible School and worked for several families in housekeeping. She married John Klassen in 1954 and had three children. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and quilting blankets and afghans. Elizabeth loved music, singing in choirs and playing her keyboard. She was an avid gardener, cook, and traveller as well. She served her church in youth group, the food committee, and Pioneer Girls. She is mourned by John; children Josie (Danny) Caputo, Charlene (Murray) Martens, and Carl (Marjorie); 10 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; 3 brothers; 3 sisters. The memorial service was Aug. 18 at Herbert (Sask.) MB Church.
