JACOB HENDRICKS

Jacob Hendricks died Aug. 16. at age 95. He was born Oct. 21, 1911 in Russia to Dietrich and Bertha Hendricks, who settled in Grassy Lake, Alta. in 1930. He married Annie Koehn Oct. 4, 1936, and built a farm, eventually retiring to Lethbridge, Alta. Jacob was a devoted and loving husband, and was described as a quiet, compassionate, generous, hard working, and humble man. He is mourned by Annie; children Jake (Annette), Ernie (Susan), Ed (Helen), Dave (Elvira), Nancy, Ruth (John) Domaschenko; 9 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 1 sister. The memorial service was Aug. 25 at Evangelical Free Church, Lethbridge, Alta.
