PETER C. KOPP

Peter Kopp died suddenly Oct. 13. He was born Mar. 14, 1931 in Coaldale, Alta. to Peter and Anna Kopp. As a boy, he accepted Christ as Saviour during a house visitation and was baptized as a teenager, joining Coaldale MB Church. Peter's life was characterized by faith in God, commitment to family, and joy that came from serving others. He was never too busy to help others with rides to appointments or house repairs. He enjoyed singing tenor at hospitals and seniors' homes, and playing his mandolin. Predeceased by 2 infant children, he is mourned by his wife of 50 years, Erna (Baerg); sons Lawrence (Wanda), Allen (Alison), Murray (Lorna), and Wesley (Ruth); 10 grandchildren; 4 brothers; 3 sisters. The memorial service was Oct. 17 at Coaldale MB Church.
