Victor Friesen of Winnipeg passed away Sept. 4, 2002. He was born June 13, 1924 in Steinbach, Man. He is survived by Mary Lee, his wife of 53 years; children Jerry, Jane Weitzel, Wayne, and James; 8 grandchildren; 1 sister and 1 brother. A memorial service was held Sept. 9 in Fort Garry MB Church, Winnipeg.
