NICOLAI J. (NICK) DICK

Nicolai J. (Nick) Dick died May 27. He was born Nov. 10, 1908 on the family estate in southern Russia to Jacob and Agnes Dick. The family immigrated to Canada, settling in Manitoba. He married Anna Schroeder in 1933. They farmed at Elm Creek, Man. In 1963 they moved to Winnipeg, but he continued farming. In 1973 he retired. He came to faith in Jesus Christ at 14 and served the Lord faithfully. Predeceased by 1 brother, 2 sisters, he is mourned by Anna, daughters Eleonore Esau and Anne Neufeld of Winnipeg; Rita Macleod of Anola, Man.; sons Dick of Edmonton and Alf of Winnipeg; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 1 brother; 5 sisters. The funeral was in Portage Ave. MB Church, Winnipeg, with Claude Pratte ministering.
