+ | • Funeral services for Mrs. Gerhard B. Unruh, 79, were conducted Friday afternoon, April 4, at the Tabor Mennonite Church with Rev. James Schrag officiating. Mrs. Unruh died April 2 at the Bethesda Hospital, Goessel. The former Anna Schmidt, she was a native of the Goessel community and except for a short time spent in Arizona, lived there all her life. She and her husband lived on a farm until 1970 when they entered the Bethesda Home. He died in 1970. Surviving are a son, Karl, of Enid, Okla.; three daughters, Mrs. Wilbert Reimer of North Newton, Mrs. Edwin Dirks of Wichita, and Mrs. Erna Seeney of Matfield Green; two brothers, Bernhard W. and Jacob K. Schmidt, both of Newton; one sister, Mrs. Ferd Unruh of Lehigh; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. |
