Altona, Man. &#8212; Three young people, all 17 years of age, were killed in a highway crash south of Plum Coulee the evening of Aug. 31.
 
Dead are Gary K. Dyck and Wesley Zacharias, both of Winkler, and Loraine Mae Hartje of East Grand Forks, Minn.  All three were passengers in a car driven by Jacob Unrau, 16, of Morden, who escaped with minor injuries.  The Hartje girl had come to this area for a wedding.
The car driven by Unrau collided with oen driven by Anthony Penner of Winnipeg.  His mother, Mrs. Suzanna Penner, 72, was in critical condition after the accident, and Mr. Penner was in fair condition.

Three Young People Killed in Crash On Manitoba Road

Altona, Man. — Three young people, all 17 years of age, were killed in a highway crash south of Plum Coulee the evening of Aug. 31.
