KATHERINE REMPEL

Katherine Rempel died June 10. She was born Feb. 9, 1919 to Henry and Katharina Wittenberg in Siberia, Russia. She accepted Christ at 12 and was baptized at 20. She married John Rempel Aug. 9, 1941.They loved music and were involved in church and community choirs. Her desire was to be a good wife and mother. She prayed for her family and missionaries. She is mourned by son Herb of Toronto; daughter Joan Ens of Burnaby, B.C.; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren. The funeral was June 16 in Bakerview MB Church, Abbotsford, with Michael Dick and Ray Harris ministering.
