Injuries Claim Life Of supervisor at Concrete Plant
Ephrata, Pa. — Some 850 persons attended funeral services Sunday Dec. 23, at the Bowmansville Mennonite Church for Kenneth E. Good, 35, supervisor at Terre Hill Concrete Products who was fatally injured in an accident. Bishop Luke Horst and Rev. William M. Weaver officiated.
Mr. Good died at the Ephrata Community Hospital on Dec. 21, two weeks after the fatal accident. It was reported that he was helping load a two and one-half ton pre-cast unit onto a truck when a steel clamp slipped and struck him int he head. The resulting skull fracture caused his death.
Mr. Good was a member of the Bowmansville Church, where he was church chorister and song leader. He was a member of the Gospel Messengers Male Chorus.
Survivors include his widow, the former Esther M. Weaver; two sons, Linford and Michael, and two daughters, Lonita and Lois, all of the home; his father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs John H. Good or [sic] rural Ephrata; one brother and four sisters.
