ELIZABETH (LIZ) DYCK

Elizabeth (Liz) Dyck died in 2004. She was born Sept. 10, 1932 to Henry J. and Elizabeth Dyck. She attended Winkler (Man.) MB Church. She was a real tomboy and an avid reader. She suffered a nervous breakdown and depression in her 20s, but recovered. She loved music, listening to tapes and CDs. She did needlework, liquid embroidery and other handicrafts. She enjoyed playing games and doing jigsaw puzzles. She doted on her nieces and nephews. She was a good gardener, winning 4-H ribbons as a teen. In later years she got around on her bike or scooter. She loved the Lord and people. She is mourned by sisters Ann Klassen, Winkler and Gloria Cooney, Bath, Ont.; brother Frank, High River, Alta.; nieces and nephews. The funeral was in Winkler MB Church with James Peters and Gary Loewen ministering.
