Shipshewana, Ind. — The collision of two trucks on Ind-5 a short distance south of here the morning of Sept. 27 claimed the life of Edward Rheinheimer, 81, a resident of this area most of his life. | |||
Mr. Rheinheimer was transferred to Parkview Memorial Hospital in Fort Wayne where he died at 6:30 that evening. Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at the Forks Mennonite Church, of which he was a member. Rev. Sylvester Haarer officiated. | |||
Mr. Rheinheimer, a farmer, plumber and carpenter, was driving a panel truck when he attempted a left turn and was hit by an oncoming pickup truck driven by Oscar S. Yoder of rural Topeka. Yoder was hospitalized with injuries. | |||
Surviving Mr. Rheinheimer are his widow, the former Laura Reinhardt, four daughters and four sons and their families. | |||

Aged Indiana Man Fatally Injured in Truck Collision
Shipshewana, Ind. — The collision of two trucks on Ind-5 a short distance south of here the morning of Sept. 27 claimed the life of Edward Rheinheimer, 81, a resident of this area most of his life.
Mr. Rheinheimer was transferred to Parkview Memorial Hospital in Fort Wayne where he died at 6:30 that evening. Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at the Forks Mennonite Church, of which he was a member. Rev. Sylvester Haarer officiated.
