— Abraham B. Martens, 91, died at the Bethesda Hospital in Goessel. The funeral was conducted Saturday forenoon at the Buhler Mennonite Church with Rev. Harold D. Thieszen in charge. Mr. Martens was a native of the Buhler community and farmed there before his retirement. For the past several years he had resided at the Bethesda Home in Goessel. His first wife, the former Katie Ediger, died in 1935. In 1941 he married Katie Friesen, and she survives with a son, Clarence, of Buhler; one daughter, Mrs. Harry Wiebe of Newton; a brother Henry of Inman; one sister, Mrs. P. H. Ediger of Inman; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
