Walter Wiebe died Sept. 6. He was born Mar. 13, 1927 in Chortitza, Ukraine to Peter and Elizabeth Wiebe. He served in the German army, was wounded and taken prisoner. Upon his release he found his family and immigrated to Winnipeg in 1949. He accepted the Lord at 22. He married Helene Hildebrand Aug. 25, 1951 and settled in Black Creek, B.C.
