MRS. WILLIAM NEUFELD, 78
Mrs. William Neufeld, 78 was born in South Russia, here she spent her childhood. She was converted at 18 and joined the local church. At the age of 19 she entered into holy matrimony and shared joys and sorrows with her husband for 59 years. In 1924 they migrated to Canada, living at Whitewater and Leamington before settling in Winnipeg and joining the Elmwood M.B. Church. She remained in good health until her later years, when frailties set in and illness sapped her strength. She anticipated her home-going and was submissive to the sovereign will of God. She was highly regarded in the church for her interest in the things of God and the love shown to so many people. In her the church has lost a true prayer warrior.
She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, 7 sons, four daughters, 2 sisters, 1 brother, 34 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren as well as a host of relatives and friends. "Blessed are the dead ... that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them."
