• Funeral services for Herman S. Voth, 85, of Route 2, Newton were conducted Saturday afternoon at the Alexanderwohl Church near Goessel, with Rev. Ronald Krehbiel officiating. Mr. Voth died June 15 at the Bethesda Hospital. He married Elizabeth Enz in 1913, and they moved to the farm where he had lived since that time. Mrs. Voth died in 1964. Surviving are sons Willard of Salem, Ore., Otto and Marvin of Route 2, Newton; six daughters, Mrs. Ferd Goossen of rural Hillsboro, Mrs. Albert Weinbrenner of Lehigh, Mr. Wm. Mastellar of Barnard, Mrs. Milferd Janzen of Newton, Misses Marie and Martha Voth of the home; one brother, David Voth of Newton; one sister, Mrs. T. U. Reimer of Iowa City, Ia.; 23 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. | |||
