WAYNE ERNEST DYCK

Wayne Ernest Dyck died May 30. He was born Mar. 5, 1945 and grew up on the family farm at Elm Creek, Man. He married Stella. He worked for Versatile Equipment and B.A.C.M Construction, and later with the Department of Highways and Carman Farm Equipment. He had a heart attack in 1982, leading to a heart transplant in 1990. He was a representative for Celebration of Life in Elm Creek. He kept his sense of humour during his stays in the hospital. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, gardening, cooking and watching westerns. He taught his granddaughters how to knit. His belief in God sustained him. He is mourned by Stella, son Karl; daughters Melinda Ricard and Wynita Siemens; 6 grandchildren; 1 brother; 1 sister. The funeral was June 3 in Elm Creek MB Church.
