The young man, son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Thomas of Thomas, was a passenger in a car driven by Gordon L. Christensen, 19, when it struck a horse east of Thomas. Ronald suffered head injuries and was dead on arrival at Southwestern Memorial Hospital, Weatherford. The Christiansen youth was treated and released. |

Oklahoma Youth, 21, Killed When Auto Runs Into Horse
Corn, Okla. — Funeral services were held at the Pleasant View Mennonite Church near Hydro on May 2 for Ronald Thomas, 21, who was fatally injured in an auto accident Saturday night, April 29.
The young man, son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Thomas of Thomas, was a passenger in a car driven by Gordon L. Christensen, 19, when it struck a horse east of Thomas. Ronald suffered head injuries and was dead on arrival at Southwestern Memorial Hospital, Weatherford. The Christiansen youth was treated and released.
Ronald was a graduate of Corn Bible Academy and at the time of his death was attending an automotive school in Oklahoma City.
