The young man, son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Thomas of Thomas, was a passenger in a car driven by Gordon L. Christensen, 19, when it struck a horse east of Thomas. Ronald suffered head injuries and was dead on arrival at Southwestern Memorial Hospital, Weatherford. The Christiansen youth was treated and released.

Oklahoma Youth, 21, Killed When Auto Runs Into Horse

Corn, Okla. — Funeral services were held at the Pleasant View Mennonite Church near Hydro on May 2 for Ronald Thomas, 21, who was fatally injured in an auto accident Saturday night, April 29.

The young man, son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Thomas of Thomas, was a passenger in a car driven by Gordon L. Christensen, 19, when it struck a horse east of Thomas. Ronald suffered head injuries and was dead on arrival at Southwestern Memorial Hospital, Weatherford. The Christiansen youth was treated and released.

Ronald was a graduate of Corn Bible Academy and at the time of his death was attending an automotive school in Oklahoma City.

Surviving in addition to the parents are three brothers, Devert and Dewayne of the home and Richard of Swink, Colo.; a sister, Vesta, of the home; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joni Yoder and Mr. and Mrs. Ben Thomas.
