&bull; Mrs. Mary Groves, 77, a resident of this area since 1957, died Saturday at the Bethel Home for Aged after a long illness. The body was returned to her former home community of Freeman, S.D., and funeral services were to be held at the Bethany Mennonite Church in Freeman on Wednesday afternoon. Surviving in the immediate family are two daughters, Mrs. Sam Kaufman of Jamestown, N.D. and Mrs. Orlando Goertzen of North Newton; six sons, Raymond D. of Mankato, Minn., Roy L. of Minneapolis, Minn., Carlyle D. of Newton, Quentin D. of Valley, Neb., Lowell A. of Denver, Colo., and Leslie P. of Elyria; and a number of grandchildren.

• Mrs. Mary Groves, 77, a resident of this area since 1957, died Saturday at the Bethel Home for Aged after a long illness. The body was returned to her former home community of Freeman, S.D., and funeral services were to be held at the Bethany Mennonite Church in Freeman on Wednesday afternoon.
